🎭 Personal Note

My uncle made a fortune selling immersion. He would hop on public transport and offer a medley of trends: the needle-threader, needles for camel needle holes... Sadly, he's no longer with us, but he left me an intellectual gimmick legacy.  Most of them old Matrioska concepts, though he was truly ahead of his time.

When I did this for the first time, I had no concept in mind, it was chaotic. I think this time it’s crystallized better. I've been more organized, and I've learned more.

🎬 The Concept

This sprite is a film about mourning—really about widowhood, or a triple-X funeral. Along the way, I’ve had to Google and search for erotic DVD covers, and it’s been quite funny. It served as a kind of inspiration by negative example, and I think it’s fried my brain a bit. Unlike last time, I’ve only made a few animations for the TV sprite, but in exchange, I’ve done enough graphic tweaks for a simple menu that mimics a DVD menu. This asset aims to be a minor tool for a micro visual novel. It’s all a bit crazy, but I have faith in my vision

🖤 About the Character

The character I've used is AI-generated, but I don't want to stop there. It also serves as a checkpoint for what I've been able to achieve regarding consistency. I will include these characters in the free package, and you can use them freely. There are six portraits of the girl and one of a boy with his face obscured.
